This privacy notice sets out how Energy Solutions collects and uses personal information about you in compliance with our obligations under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020. We take your privacy very seriously. Please read this notice carefully as it contains valuable information on the personal information that we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and whether it is sold to or shared with third parties. 

  1. Personal Information We Collect. We collect and use the following categories of personal information: 
  • Identifiers: Such as name, email address, and your contact form submission details.
  • Personal information as defined in California Customer Records law: Such as name; 
  • Internet or other electronic network activity information: Such as browsing history, search history, and Demographics, IP Address, agents, browsing behavior, session statistics, and transactions. 
  • Geolocation data, if engaging the map feature on the website; 

  1. Why We Collect and Use Your Personal Information. We collect and use your personal information for the following purposes: 
  • Helping to ensure security and integrity and prevent fraud; 
  • Performing services including maintaining or servicing accounts, providing customer service, verifying customer information, and confirming eligibility for the program and helping you find a dealer to purchase equipment from to utilize your rebates; 
  • Undertaking activities to verify, maintain, or improve the quality or safety of our products or services; 
  • To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations; 
  • For the performance of our contract with you or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract 

  1. Whether Personal Information Will Be Sold or Shared. 

We do not sell your personal information or share your personal information for purposes of cross-contextual behavioral advertising. 

  1. How Long Your Personal Information Will Be Kept. We will keep your personal information while you have an account with us or while we are providing services to you. Thereafter, we will keep your personal information for as long as is necessary: 
  • To respond to any questions, complaints or claims made by you or on your behalf; 
  • To show that we treated you fairly; or 
  • To keep records required by law. 

We will not retain your personal information for longer than necessary for the purposes set out in this notice. Different retention periods apply for different types of personal information.

When it is no longer necessary to retain your personal information, we will delete or anonymize it.

California Foodservice Instant Rebates IOUs - utility company logos - SoCalGas, SDG&E, SCE, PG&E

The California Foodservice Instant Rebates Program is funded by California utility customers and administered by Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas®) and supported by the state’s other investor-owned utilities (IOUs), Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E®), Southern California Edison Company (SCE®) and San Diego Gas & Electric Company (SDG&E®), under the auspices of the California Public Utilities commission through a contract awarded to Energy Solutions. Program funds, including any funds utilized for rebates or incentives, will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until such funds are no longer available. This program may be modified or terminated without prior notice. Customers who choose to participate in this program are not obligated to purchase any additional goods or services offered by Energy Solutions or any other third party. The selection, purchase, and ownership of goods and/or services are the sole responsibility of customer. None of the above-mentioned IOUs make any warranty, whether express or implied, including the warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, of goods or services selected by customer. None of the IOUs endorse, qualify, or guarantee the work of Energy Solutions or any other third party. Eligibility requirements apply; see the program conditions for details.
